Housekeeping Role
Our Island is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team!
Our Island is a property management agency offering a curated selection of holiday homes & guesthouses across Waiheke Island. We are looking for a committed and experienced housekeeper who can work with us 20-30 hours per week. You will be working within a small team and given a lot of autonomy and benefits. You must have the ability to work around our housekeeping schedule, including weekends and public holidays as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Work within a dedicated team, setting the standard for impeccable housekeeping and laundry services that reflect the Our Island brand.
Clean, prepare and maintain properties to a high-standard for guest arrivals.
Deep cleans ahead of start of tenancy or property take over.
Ensure all guest amenities and supplies are replenished at each property.
Co-ordinate and manage linen supplies, including loading van and pickups/drop-offs.
Report damages, maitainence work require. Liaise with management team day-to-day.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in professional cleaning or a similar role.
Initiative: Ability to follow directions and take initiative to successfully complete tasks.
Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and ability to sole problems.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in property management systems or similar, booking engines, and other related software.
Problem Solving: Quick decision-making ability, especially under pressure or in emergency situations.
Must live on Waiheke Island.
Must have valid work rights for NZ.
Valid drivers license is essential for this role.
